you should save questions for when you dont understand the book/tutorial, not start with them (in my opinion)

If a book is not a preferred option, I would suggest to at least read an article about what a bitmask is and which operators one can use in C++ to manipulate them

Since I don't have a education in C or C++ and I do not have the knowledge about what a bitmask is, could you please either educate me or not even answer the question just me make me feel dumb? This is a channel for 335 questions and I asked one. I do not care about if you think or have a opinion about me lacking knowledge or not tbh

Great option and i'd love to learn more about it for sure. Right now I am only seeking the answer for a quick convert to make custom changes in the DBC, not changing anything else in C++

Thanks for all the help, next time I'd recommend you to read about educating other in a book or something before answering other in the wrong manner. Much appreciated!

If this is not clear, then the quick answer is not good enough and you need a long answer, which is what cppreference or wikipedia or stackoverflow will give
