It did not work as I thought though, as when I used Death Gate, it just sent me back to the phased zone.

People often have issues with that quest when speaking to Thrall because they change his faction.

Yea, so change his faction to a horde one that the DKs are set not being unfriendly with.

Because you are unfriendly with all Horde factions as a DK besides one and that’s the one Thrall is set to xD
