i've noticed these pretty severe spikes happening every ~5-10 frames whenever I go to places like icecrown with tons of mobs, and from some tracing there seems to be something exponential going on between the creatures. I'll make a proper issue later but I have a strange feeling this is something ... old? Does anyone recognize it?

I actually don't even use that, I meant asan logs. Not much about overwriting, more like "we have something to fix, no point restarting it until it's fixed"
