[Archive] [MAJOR WIP] Dagger of Time model from PoP3: The Two Thrones!

Quote:HELLO ALL! Like the name says, i am currently working on the legendary Dagger of Time from the Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time trilogy! It is a big WIP but like i say i am freaking determined to do this. The PoP: SoT trilogy are my favorite games next to World of Warcraft! So tell me what you guys think about it so far, if i get good feedback, i will definatly release. If anyone also has any suggestions for me regarding the model feel free to share! I'm all ears!

Also if i get good feedback on this, i was actually planning to make more Prince of Persia models. Here are two of (what i think are) some of the coolest looking swords in the trilogy.
The Lion Sword from PoP2: Warrior Within
The Eagle Sword from PoP2: Warrior Within
And there you have it! I myself am excited about this
If all goes well i might start taking requests for alot more Prince of Persia models!
UPDATE: Ok those of you who are eagerly awaiting its release, it's starting to look really good! I'll try to post some more pics a bit later, but now i am trying to figure out how to add the yellowish / orange glow in the middle of the handle to give the sand chamber in the handle a little Sands of Time glow. If anyone has an idea about how i might be able to do that please speak up! I would love for this to look as authentic as possible! (I'm sure it's going to have something do with particles schlumpf lol)

Yeah the whole serrated sword blade thing is pretty neat, and depending on the feedback to the Dagger of Time, it might be my next modeling project
