I recompiled my core and now I'm getting this error ```
Used MySQL library version (5.7.36 id 50736) does not match the version id used to compile TrinityCore (id 50737). Search on forum for TCE00011.
``` I searched on the forum like it instructed, but all it had was ```On windows copy the dlls from your build directory to where you are running core.``` which didn't help because my server is already running in my build directory. Does anyone have any other ideas on how to fix this?
recompile with the new mysql connector. Everytime when they release a new MySQL connector you'll have to recompile your TC server... isn't that fun?
Oh, very fun. This is my first time running into that, how do I include the new MySQL connector in the compile? I've recompiled a few times today already but that didn't seem to be enough to fix it.
you don't have to include your mysql connector... it is getting automatically from your system.
for. example if you have mysql 5.7.37 installed with mysql connector 5.7.36 and a NEW mysql connector 5.7.37 was released by the freakin mysql community qnd you got updated then you'll have to re-compile your TrinityCore server... just like that and nothing more.
Hmm, that's odd then. I've recompiled several times today, the issue started when I first recompiled. Though it could be the issue really started when I took the server down to recompile, can't really test that now unfortunately.
Yeah, it's strange to me because I did nothing except the usual configure then generate in CMake and clean then build in Visual Studio that I've done every other time I've compiled.
