Game_Event seem to be holiday creatures and stuff. No, unfortunately, none of the NPCs are connected to it and as such that isn't the problem. Thanks for your help though. I guess its a mystery I will have to uncover. If I delete the original already spawned NPC and spawn a new one, the weapon equip template appears. But I don't want to do that or else it will fuck up some event scripts and such.
