I might be wrong since I can't really look it up at my smartphone right now, but there is a general base for all values (hp, armor, etc) in creature_classlevelstats table

The values in this table gets taken as base for calculations when it comes to the multipliers

i suggest that you never edit that table, so mult/modifiers are the way
