if you edit a map that is in the client just run maps extractor again so you got updated maps/vmaps for the edited maps etc.

also if you are going to be modding maps they really don't support that here <@!444290888080949249> try http://www.modcraft.io/index.php?board=48.0 this site is made for map editing and custom worlds etc. they can help you there.
