i tried having the folders in the same folder with worldserver.exe and the dataDIR "." and had same issue. this is why i put in a data folder etc

also make sure your maps are from the same project you compiled as they get updated and random maps from older packs will NOT work with the newer trinity

if there is custom maps you need to add the patch.mpq to the map extractor etc so it will know to extrace maps from it too.
