Well.. 8GB of RAM DDR3 and a quad-core CPU (even Core2Duo) is enough if you have 1GB connection up and down. The SSD and NVMe.M2 and your upload is important only.

and this "solid fiber connection" .. lol why it sounds like a homeserver .. ? Most servers are in datacenters nowadays, that's cheaper than running your dedi at home.
