Dude have you thought that having to upgrade to different compilers may also require certain other things because of vulnerabilities?

I’m not having a dig at you. But your whining at <@!376821416105869315> because you are running a Pentium 4 as a server.

Before even whining. Did you try to download different versions of cmake and visual studio etc and tried compiling that way?

It’s not Max’s problem. He tried to help by answering your question. And you kept going on.

Maybe if you asked nicely maybe someone could look into compiling a source for you. But I don’t really see it happening to be honest.

Did you take a minute to think... TrinityCore HAS to keep up with the times. As software becomes EOL (End Of Life). No longer supported.
Visual Studio gets old, Cmake gets old, BOOST gets old, and so does windows.

Or just shove windows 10 32-bit on. YEAH ITS going to be slow.
At least then you’d probably be able to compile.

Does anyone remember when windows XP got the announcement of end of life, then windows vista, 7, 8, 8.1.

Ok.
I will repeat it again, WOW Lich King appeared on November 18, 2008, this is a very low-requirements game, I managed to run the server on an old PC and play this game at the same time, about 100 people played on my server, on a local network (NAT and Global Network)! And I wasn't under a lot of pressure. Yes, if I had a second PC at that time, it would certainly be better. But I'm on a Pentium 4, 1-2GB of RAM ran the server and played without any problems! What "Time" can we talk about? Do you even think logically, how can such ancient content be translated to the Standards of 2020? This is stupid! How did Blizzard do at the time? Given the fact that they have more than a million of players!

You can’t expect everyone to be using the exact same set up as you. Microsoft would consider it.
