Yeah. I havent had so much a problem with this repack that I've bothered/ needed to update.
I suppose I could start over. but I've gone a fair way with levelling (shrug)
Just tested also on another account, creating a new character has no problems.

I’ve helped 2-3 people from scratch with their servers this week. Someone was having MySQL issues, someone else had an auth issue, and another was new to the whole idea of wow servers, got so far but got stuck.

Then you may have a corruption with the account that is GM that you want all characters to have GM status. I’m unsure.
But it does sound to me like the data for character is corrupt or something else, I’m unsure

the database side seems reasonably straight forward.
Ive compiled before, I just really dont want too. lol. ( I know thats just stupid lazy)
I might test on another copy of this repack with a heap of db extractions and imports.
See if I can't copy over all asepcts of characters and accounts.
I doubt that will fix it, but if everything else works, I'm confident i could transfer my required data to a new compile.
