Some solution must have, I've seen similar object opening missions.
It is the mission of the rogues class
This quest is delivered in Stormwind which continues in Westfall.
The objective is to steal the key from some npc and go to the top of the tower to later use the key on the chest and extract the book that the mission requests.

OH!!!!! I remember that one....althought the toon i used it on was from like 3 or 4 years ago.....
