and what is weird is that countries like Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, UK have a lot of Datacenters with tons of web hosting companies there... and their hosting plans are super ok, very cheap plans like 5-10$ /month BUT if you want internet at home you'll have to spend 10x more...

I got one VPS in Limburg (via OVH) for only 8 euro /month. Default firewall, Linux Ubuntu and it's very very stable ... it's still online from approx. 3 years with only 3-4 restarts /year.
