by just looking in the core directory. if it's not there, you missed it. read the wiki install instructions

I was indeed missing this dll.
As I followed Scriptoriums guide and he was using openssl 1.1.1 he didnt mention the legacy.dll.
Weird thing though, I had deinstalled openssl 3.3.2 and installed 1.1.1 just to check if that was it and it still didnt work.
Anyway, working now. Thanks for the help!

so whenever you build with 3.x you gotta use legacy.dll

Ahhh, so thats why building with 3 but then afterwards installing 1 didnt work? That makes sense..

if cmake selects openssl3 it doesn't care about the other installation
