Why can’t you run it?

"Run" was maybe a bad choice. I can "run" them. But I wouldn't be able to connect to a private server (as I'm on an Intel mac and there is no patch or launcher for those - and I won't use an emulator or even install another os just for WoW). Even though I have a few (client) bugs with cata - I really wouldn't mind to have a replacement

Yes, it does (I mean, there a some bugs, but in general yes). That's why I meant: I'm sticking with cata (and cheer for everyone who thinks about starting a cata project instead of targeting cata classic)

Actually, just 2 bugs. One is maybe not even a client bug. But the other one definitely is: switching from fullscreen has a ~20% to fuck-up something (only way to get the display working again is to restart the computer). As it can be reproduced without even logging in, it's for sure a client issue

Workaround: I have 6 outputs but use only 2 displays; so I can just use a different output four times before I need to restart - but it's extremely annoying

Do you have already your server up and running? Because all "public private servers", which I tried, had some mysterious issue with the Mac 64bit client; would be really curious what the issue is - so IF your server has it too, I would be interested in trouble shooting it together But no need to test for it, in case you use the TCPP code (as it doesn't have that issue)

hm You think the bnet stuff might cause it? Because I do not use it either (and don't have the issue). Probably worth that I go and check what those other servers used…

yes I think that's because
