Sorry to keep bothering, but google isn't coming up with any results when I search for answers. Maybe I should try chatgpt or new bing,
Anyways, if an npc quest giver has Auras 75975 74706, I create a spell_area for the area id he is in. Which is 5012.

So I create a spell area for 5012, add the aura ids as spell ids.
Add the starting quest that should then provide the aura to the player
To make it permanent set no end quest.

Though I'm not seeing any change from this. So I'm clearly doing something wrong.
I'm using WoW Database Editor to try to make it easier, but still getting the hang of things

Agreed. I can translate the editor into sql myself already, I'm just using it as a tool to help speed up the work.
