"if i add the port 8085 to the realmlist it gets stuck at authenticating" this leads me to believe that you didn't set the IP of the realmlist in the DB

no, i have it on a dedicated server, with the ports open. i changed it in the SQL database under the auth DB in realmlist. I changed the address
