Ye, what I meant was if he can port to them using those guids. I can port to them just fine but it doesn't really make any sense since they basically dont/shouldnt exists.

Or, if my logic is correct, we would need to have all of the phases it would spawn/be available in under a phase group of some kind so when we shift phases in game via spells or otherwise, we know which NPCs should be in that phase?

lets take <https://www.wowhead.com/npc=178908/aldalil> as example, that npc is only spawned when you have a certain quest in questlog or some quests not rewarded yet

if you have the related quest hes spawned and wpp tells you the npc has all phases the player had at that time

if you are in front of him and abandon the related quest he despawns (because phase is removed), but wpp still tells you that hes in one of the active player phases he originally spawned in

Okay, so I would basically have to look at what phase I was in before then see what changed after.
