not exactly. Wow is a special case as Blizz did invest quite a bit into obfuscation, especially during Cataclysm and MoP (they randomized the everliving shit out of packets). It was until WoD when they returned to proper structs and conviniently leaked a very specific build during that time that enabled us to catch up again

Yeah, I saw that since in Cata and MoP the packet structures are absolutely abysmal. I assume they returned to cleaner structures because they figured obfuscation is still not gonna stop developing emulators?
