Hi everyone! I’m not a developer myself, but I’ve been thinking about a project idea and wanted to hear your thoughts on how feasible it is.
I really enjoy the gameplay and class design from patch 10.x and 11.x, but I find the content far too easy, like tanks pulling entire dungeons at level 10. So the idea is:
What if we had modern classes and combat from 10.x, but with Classic-level difficulty, mobs take longer to kill, deal more damage, and feel dangerous again?
Ideally, it could even run in a Classic world (quests, NPCs, dungeons from 1.12), but using the 10.x class systems.
Is something like this technically viable on a TrinityCore base, or would it require a full custom emulator? And does this idea make sense for you guys as wow players too?

Yeah you can say that, but m+ during leveling and questing and not at max leveling on dg. Making the modern wow more about the journey just like classic did

I feel like that would be a problem if a class couldn't progress on his own where everyone should in classic. But if it takes the same time to kill that it would on classic I think that's not a problem. It may just come down to preference or a war between classic x retail. The idea is more like both games having a child other than making them fight each other xD
