For me, a hack is a hack... whether it's the LK hack or the overwriting of DBC data. My point was that they were a bit too picky, even though they already offered a clean solution, and that was before I switched to broadcast.

The point always was: youre stuff doesnt need to be a hack. There is a working blizzlike way to implement it, so its the way to go. You cant compare a whole core feature with a single db row. And sometimes if we look at spellmgr we will likely never get the serverside data and have false client data so there is no good way around instead of a hack.

Why? I didn't do anything wrong. Yes, I don't have any sniffs or IDs, but if no one can access the data because no one is playing retail WoW and is currently doing this quest to sniff it, you'll have to wait months, if not years. When I look at some of the bug reports that have existed since 2014, I tell myself, "I'll fix them in 30 minutes," because they only pay attention to stupid sniffs and don't make any compromises.
All I can say is, it's as it is...that Azerothcore is simply superior in certain areas, and yes, that's one of my sources, and of course, if I have doubts, I try to verify whether it's true.
Go to Wowhead or read the comments there and watch live streams from live servers, etc. Of course, you can't sniff everything like that, but I get what's possible from there.

No one has any idea whether your fix was right or wrong because you deleted it in two microseconds, simply because you were told that making new rows in broadcast_text is not correct

The code isn't gone. I posted it to the competitor AC, who have the same problem with the quest.
