when I use player->UpdateSpeed(MOVE_WALK); when the speed was higher than normal, it seems to make the player "run funny" like doing a speed walk animation.
How can I fix that ?

I guess the only way is to use the speed explicitly
SetSpeedRate(MOVE_WALK, 1.0f);

I am not sure about it, but i noticed that female models are not affected by this speed-change-effect, at least by slowing. That is why i thought it depends on animation model

I'm testing now if it works properly when using the SetSpeedRate directly

so if you set the speed to 1.0f it resets it to normal.
then I just use the UpdateSpeed() to get all the buffs, and bonuses etc.
voila
