idk what games you play on wine but many games require adjusting the windows version in the registry in wine

That is a common thing to do and a known 'workaround' because wine default win version specifies some 18xxx most of the time instead of 19045 or higher

Haven't touched the Open Source pull after I successfully built and ran it on an older 10.2... client. As I've stated before- not using ANY version of Arctium. Strictly old 3.3.5a client/TC server. I just threw it together trying to help another user try to figure out why the closed source Arctium wasn't patching the client. That user ended up going back to 3.3.5a for content reasons anyway....
