I don't use arctium, I'm strictly 3.3.5

So if the latest Arctium is still using ReadProcessMemory() , that appears to be returning FALSE.
Since source is closed not really much you can do. However, if your comfortable with VS, it may be possible to replicate just a portion of what they used to do, createprocess, suspend it- try ReadProcessMemory() that will allow you to actually capture a GetLastError() if it returns FALSE....

Was attempting to run their latest push prior to their archival on git. Looks like I may be missing some files they decided to gitignore.

For now, just playing retail. Going to look at it more tomorrow, I really appreciate your time you took out of your weekend night to look into this.

It may be easier to do hardcoded down and dirty barebones C++ console app, easier to access the win api, etc...

Ah, I'm weak in that area. Been pure C# for a few years now. I feel comfortable working with C#, but when it reaches C++ I don't know why my mind just can't grasp it.
I appreciate that, but it is your weekend. I was just hoping to see if someone else perhaps stumbled upon this and there was a quick and easy fix. If not, I don't want to spend your time as I have on it today.

Well, I'm not making promises or anything, but if I have time and can whip up a little C++ app I'd be happy to pass the code on so you could build, step through it yourself...
