Well if it can emulate big parts of WoW they have certainly done a great achievement... even if the code would look like terrible.

Professionally I agree with you though, containers and too much OO will just be walking in mud... change one detail and you're done... everyone inherits this abominable crap-class and you're basically stuck with the poor design without a *major* revamp of the code gosh... been there done that.

I think in general a full testing suite, with everything running at every PR is beyond important (Beside the things you've mentioned as well)

In all honesty though... That is for a professional setup, but your're right, it's not a professional setup, maybe it will never be, but I'm still impressed.
