is trinty core a good place to learn development, I got C++ programming knowledge and compilers how computer work and that worked only professional python , I want to do switch to C++ but I would like to work on a big project to gain confidence before job switch, is this good idea to start learning how C++ structure and SQL are for a big base like this?

I asked in azeroth core but all of them claim they don't know C++ and can program it without knowledge of it

<@860157473520353300> it depends in which "department" you are planning to work on in TrinityCore. If you would only use the database you only need sql - you can even script (in a limited way) with it.
You can also script in C++, for that you don't necessarily need in depth knowledge about how pointers or memory management works (in C++ you have to do memory management yourself, unlike in python where's a garbage collector), but its a good starting point to get started with C++. Then you can gain more knowledge through scripting, as more experienced people might have better ideas on how to optimize stuff and will tell you about it during feedback phase of a pull request.
As you feel a bit more confident then you might touch the core systems, which might require a bit more knowledge than just basic syntax of C++ and logic
