So I'm being os by Lord Marrowgar and when I respawn, I respawn outside of the raid

You can think what you want there.
I've been doing this for years and have never had any problems with my Linux system. I even go so far as to think that TC wouldn't be able to keep up with the new features that the software update brings with it, hence this stupid check because that's how you want to keep it under control. TC has to adapt to the software, not the other way around if there is an incompatibility
