I'm trying to get my bearings with quest objectives and how they all interact. I have a server running and one of my players is nearly done with every quest in the game. That being said, dozens of them were bugged and needed to be auto-completed. I'm spending time digging through the documentation and any resources I can find, however I'm just starting and the resources are slim when it comes to descriptions of how things are done.
**TLDR: Trying to figure out how quest objectives work.**
Using this Bloodelf quest as an example: Thirst Unending where you use Arcane Torrent on a Mana Wyrm. I notice that the quest objective is set on a different creature than the mana wyrm itself. It is instead set on a creature called Sunstrider Mana Tap Counter (ID: 15468)
I am not seeing any conditions for the spell or the creature to signify that using the spell near the creature will count towards the quest. Can someone point me in the right direction?
