[DiscordArchive] The WoWDBEditor looks really cool. Can it be used to essentially change maps or create new ones?

Cool modding technique. So with TrinityCore and a legal copy of WoW WotLK, one can use that modding guide to build a custom MMO? Using the WoW engine and assets essentially?

And if you just wanted to use preexisting assets, you’d mostly just be writing scripts I guess?

Hosting private servers is rarely legal regardless of how you acquired the client, but that is how you do it. The difference between a framework like tswow and "plain" trinitycore is that tswow prefers scripting both database contents and game logic, while plain tc would prefer gui tools or modifying server/client databases manually
