It's mostly not about the game itself after 335 but more about the fact that they in their "I hate everything new culture". Damn plebs

a mixture of everything
for me personally, i grew up with my very own understanding and liking of the story - the way the lore went and the events around cataclysm didnt fit that.
topped by the casualizing of the overall game drifted me apart.
Its also a new age versus old age kind of thing - i like my games hard without tutorials since thats how games have been in my youth.
Todays games mostly spoil their users from the very first second. Everything is one click away, a single individual means nothing anymore since everyone is exchangeable by random people, you dont really bond to other players as you did in the past.
But then again, i dont have the same time and patience as i had back then, i cant grind hundreds of hours into a game anymore.
I guess that eventually i miss the feel of gaming i had in my youth and nothing can bring this back to me because the experience and the time where this happend was so very specific that it cant be recreated.
