good old dedicated servers. Still the best way for stuff like game servers. ONe reason why game servers in many mmos suck nowadays is that they went for a microservice like architecture using virtual machines only instead of bare metals.

I mean.. running tc for 100 people on a cloud vm works just fine without issues. in these ranges that's not a problem
