my user, who owns and has permissions on the entire AC directory, as far as I can tell. unless git is changing that somewhere.

does it match the user running in the container? should be 1000 (can check with `id -u`)

looks like you can also set the path of the logfile with `set logging file FILE` (`set logging file /tmp/gdb.log`)

that makes sense, but i'd have the same problem as i do now - gdb.conf would constantly get reset and remove my customization
