When running a docker based server is there an easy way to only rebuild the modules vs the entire core to make development changes faster?

when you do a build after the first it should only build what's new. my modules take <30 seconds to compile vs 20 minutes for the whole project.

there's also a "castle in the sky" that sometimes gets mentioned, compiling and loading modules as shared libraries, but at the moment that's a castle in the sky and not something that exists
