you may need to run `sudo chown -R $(id -u):$(id -g) env/dist` to ensure that the configs are not owned to root

hmm. I have no idea how to change linux permissions for a folder on windows
try this:
`docker run -it --rm -v /path/to/azerothcore-wotlk/env:/opt/acore-env ubuntu chown -R 1000:1000 /opt/acore-env`

it's running a `cp -n`. the `-n` is "noclobber". The files are moved to that spot during the build. since the build and run are separate in docker, the container ensures the files exist when the container starts up. with "noclobber", it won't overwrite anything you've put there.

its safe to run, "chown" means "CHange OWNership". to be safe though, you can totally copy the `env/dist` folder to `env/dist.bak` or something

yeah, you will need to set it to the path of whereever the azerothcore folder is on the computer, and it needs to be the absolute path

so like `-v 'C:\Games\azerothcore-wotlk:/opts/acore-env'`, but I don't exactly know how it works with docker on windows. If you have git bash available, that might be something you can do without running the `chown` through docker
