you can remove the ` (env var AC_SOURCE_DIRECTORY)`, that was part of the message rather than the value I meant to indicate

question, the conf and conf.dist files, do you need to update both? or is the .conf so you can keep your configs when rebuilding, so changes to be made there?

just the `.conf`. The `conf.dist` is an example but it's not read by the server.
