Restarting the server will not add change it, you rebuild with new configuration then restart and it should then mount those directories so changes made are picked up by worldserver

In general I like docker generally for portability for apps, in this case it's quite complicated the way its built. I still prefer it though. One thing to watch out for is with lots of builds or tinkering you will chew up disk space.

Yes that's exactly it, often when the disk fills up I do a purge with " docker compose down --rmi all -v --remove-orphans"
