I just went through this same scenario tonight. My server is deployed to my home Linux server running in a Docker container.
When I make changes to my server via the source code I first cloned down, then I just:
1. ./acore.sh docker build
2. (if the build is successful) docker-compose down
3. ./acore.sh docker start:app:d

I like solocraft, solo-lfg, autobalance, and individual-xp. If you have any experience writing code (not even c++) its actually pretty easy to make your own modules too
