[DiscordArchive] I have no idea, actually. Instead of the git checkout, can you set the docker image tag to the commi

is it possible that the client PC has a firewall blocking the ports?

Given the client is initiating the connection that shouldn't' be an issue, I'm using Ubuntu for the server and allowed the ports on UFW

yeah, there can be some weirdness though, like the auth port being allowed for connections from the client but not the world port. It's probably going to be worth your time to test with building locally to test that as well

I should say it isn't an issue because I've used the client before, just changed the realmlist

I will see if I can get the classic version working from the server and maybe circle back to docker... I have some feedback from my notes for the docker installation instructions anyway

Funny you mention haha, I use my own setup for building docker containers, still waiting on the PR though <https://github.com/azerothcore/azerothcore-wotlk/pull/14990>

Thanks for the elaborate response and even follow-up actions. I'll tro to see if I can wrap my head around the matter. I do have quite some docker experience, but not so much on the acore composition/mechanisms. I'll report my findings once I get to it!
Thanks again (loving this community so far!)
