I'd be interested in seeing that happen. IME I've gotta be dumping 1000s of lines per second for something to be a problem

Late to the party, but indeed a minimal conf file, overriding only what we need, is better. And ofc all configuration options should be in wiki

Then we removed the need for the dist file and moved that into a proper, full config file
