Actually, the more I think about it, the more I like the idea of the config file being small and the core not complaining about missing config options. And then having the different options documented elsewhere to build your own file

Just make a config tab in keira, showing all defaults in green and all custom values in orange or something

yeah, that was the whole idea behind the `.user` file. the user wouldn't ever really look at `.conf`, they'd only put their changes to the defaults (so probably less than 50 lines in most cases) in the `.user`.
