Ok, copy all of the things including/under the MOTD into a new file, .conf.bak or so. remove the old .conf and rerun the build. I don't believe that you need to worry about clearing cache. copy all of the changes save in .conf.bak to the newly generated .conf file.

which is weird, cause I thought what we wanted is to have a small .conf overriding defaults in cpp config, and that's all, no more dist
