so did a little research this error "has wrong spell 0 defined in `auras` field." has been around for awhile. Mangos 2011 and im finding it in trinitycore as well. https://github.com/TrinityCore/TrinityCore/issues/23969 Is it possible it had a bandaid put on it and its coming back to haunt us? Suppress the error and keep kicking the can down the road?

No, we didn't have it because that check wasn't implemented, however it was implemented last week
