if you already have that file you can just add those 2 variables there, just make sure that is the .env of the current installation guide

your only option if you want to keep the root on host is to set chmod on 777 for those folders

another option would be to put them in a named volume, I'll try to create a solution for it as an option to enable and commit it to our repo as soon as possible

thats quite disappointing and frustrating. I "killed" my running setup for keeping up to date and now have to rethink and setup everything again. And can't getting my small family server up fast again
