ive tried a bunch of things but just get a port conflict when compiling

or do i have to use its own database? and if so how do i change the port?, ive tried editing all the configs and using a docker compose over ride to change the port to 3307 but still get the database trying to use 3306

That's not what you're asking. You're asking about getting the Docker setup to use an already existing mysql server. Docker is not the primary way of running AzerothCore so it's **very** confusing when reading that question because for someone who never uses Docker it sounds very stupid.
