I guess if I'm using an external IP address for the realmlist, it needs to be unique if I share the same local internal address

Basically if you could use a DNS it is better than an IP

so the ports are really just an internal thing, as long as the defaults for auth and world are open ie 8085 and 3724 or whatever it is, shoudl be fine
