Is there a documented guide or easy way to migrate from a Windows Install to Linux by just migrating the SQL Database?

I've got HeidiSQL on Windows and DBeaver within Linux (Debian), trying to move data over from one to the other but not quite sure the best way to go about it

Database interaction isn't OS dependant. You use a MySQL client to export your DB on one machine and import it on the other.

I just deleted the tables manually with DBeaver, and the import then worked, I guess I didn't have the replace option within the export SQL file perhaps?
