I had entered the new source directory in Authserver in the commented section instead of the SourceDirectory=' ' section

I got everything to work, the issue was that I wasnt running it in admin mode, the Auth server was looking at the wrong IP and source directory and the user acore need to be deleted and the commands from the guide re-commanded.

Thanks for trying to help me Ymir, but for future reference, you dont need to be an ass when somebody asks you a question and doesn't understand something. Especially when the topic is something pretty complicated such as SQL and databases. It had nothing to do with the Bind IP, and the fact that I did not understand your cryptic instructions does not mean I do not "have any proper knowledge" learn proper people-skills and grammar.

A:/ - are you running on a floppy?! Please insert disk #4.

Glad to see you figured out your issue. A good note with SQL - as you start mucking around with things make sure to SAVE any update statements you do against the World database. What you will find is that you start to make small tweaks, then at some point reload the World (doesn't effect your characters/accounts) but forgot to save something.

I've just been putting my custom little tweaks that get applied here and there into a single SQL/text file with comments before each one. For example I added a NPC to sell a specific item...then decided to add a few more things to that NPC . So each time I've tweaked that NPC I just go to that section of the file and add the new lines there.

But when I first started I made some tweaks that I did not save. And upon reloading the world I had to figure them out again.
