I have managed to find em trough mysql workbench search but manually opening the tables show me nothing.

I'm not sure what you mean by manually opening the tables vs "finding" them through mysql workbench.

Nevermind, i figured it out. There's a tiny button to open the table and see the data yourself.

I would guess it's like they didn't press the data button (like in heidisql)

I was wondering if they are trying to bring up like an "edit" window? where you can see the table data layed out in an editable grid. I knew a few people that liked to use that format in MS SQL - I never liked opening tables like that.

I've never used the workbench, I just made a guess based on what they said. I have no idea what it looks like, what you just said. The only GUIs I've used in many years are HeidiSQL and DBeaver.
