I can always remove stuff. But I am in no shape or form rewriting it as I just use Windows

I can give it a shot. I think quite a few things needs to be overhauled in the Linux part of the guide because it's just confusing and a lot of bad comments. Saying Debian doesn't have the required clang version is wrong because 11 has it and it should be noted (amongst other things).

What issues? I’ve never had an issue with MariaDB.
